Repair parenting. For the after, not the perfect.

Everyone loses it. Not everyone repairs. Be the one who repairs.

You yelled. It happened. Unyell gives you the exact words to repair it — by the situation and your kid's age — and an anonymous club of parents who lost it today too. The script for what to do. The proof you're not the only one.

The yelling isn't what your kid remembers. The repair is.

How Unyell works

1

Tap “I lost it”

Right after it happens. Pick what happened — no judgment, just pick one. Two taps, zero typing, no login wall.

2

You're not the only one

It's posted to the club anonymously — no names, no profiles. Watch the hugs come in from parents who were in the same hallway an hour ago.

3

Get the exact words

Open the Repair kit for what to say — by situation and your kid's age. Three lines, readable in 30 seconds, plus the mistakes to skip. Works offline, even at 2am.

4

And repair with them

Age-fit ways to reconnect, help them name it, and close the loop — made for a 2-year-old, not a lecture. Plus tools to calm yourself down first.

What happened?

No names. It goes to the club.

I yelled
I said something mean
I punished out of anger
I ignored them / walked out
I lost it in public
I've been snapping all day

You're not alone ❤️

2,847 parents lost it today too.

Say this
1

Get down to their eye level. “Hey. That was scary, huh?”

2

“I yelled. That wasn't okay. It wasn't your fault.”

3

“I love you even when I'm loud. Want a hug?”

Don't say this
Don't ask them to forgive you. Don't turn it into a lecture.

Get low, offer — don't force

Kneel to their level, soft eyes.
Open arms — let them come to you.
“Mommy got loud. That was scary. I'm sorry. I'm here.”
Do this together

Blow out the candles

Three slow breaths together.
Or one big squeeze-and-release hug.

The next blowup is coming.
This time, you'll have the words.

$59.99 a year or $3.99 a week with a 7-day free trial — everything included. Early birds get their first month free.

The repair kit

The exact words, in two taps.

Not principles. Not “stay calm”. The literal sentences to say in the 30 seconds after you lost it — picked for the situation you're standing in and rewritten for your kid's age, because what works on a 2-year-old backfires on a 7-year-old. Everything here works offline, at 2am, on airplane mode.

01

The script for right now

Pick what happened — the car, bedtime, in public, the wrong kid — and get three lines you can read in 30 seconds and say out loud. Age-fit wording from under-18-months to 7+, plus the classic mistakes that turn an apology into round two.

02

Calm down first

Six tools for the 30 seconds before you go to them — breathe, unclench, borrow a slower heartbeat, follow the light left-to-right. Each with its own haptic pattern, recognizable by feel. Works offline, works at 2am.

03

How to repair

The five steps of an apology that lands: own it without a “but”, name both feelings, let the grown-up do the repairing, show that love survives anger, close with a tiny ritual. Plus the classic mistakes to skip.

04

No streaks, no judgment

We count comebacks, not blowups — never “days without yelling”, never a red calendar. Anonymous by default, works offline, and it never once tells you you're doing it wrong.

What the club looks like inside — example cards, written by us. Real confessions never leave the app.

The anonymous club

You're not alone in this.

Every parent in the feed yelled today, or is about to. Confess it — no names, no profiles, no photos — and watch the hugs come in from parents who were in the exact same hallway an hour ago. No comments, ever. Nobody can reply to your worst moment. They can only hug it.

It's 11pm, you're still replaying it, and your phone buzzes: someone hugged your confession. That's the whole feature. That's enough.

Parenting affirmations

For the guilt hours.

It's 2am and you're replaying the moment on loop. Open your parenting affirmations: a quiet, swipeable stream of honest validations and confessions from parents who get it. No advice. No homework. Just company.

Questions parents ask

Before you join.

Is this therapy?
No — it's a repair kit, not a medical or therapy service. It hands you the words and the tools for ordinary hard moments. If something feels bigger than a bad moment, the app (and the footer below) point you to real human support.
Is the club really anonymous?
Yes. No names, no profiles, no photos — a post shows only your role and your kid's age band (“mom of a 2yo”). Every confession is screened by an AI moderator, and you can hug, report, or hide anything. Nobody can comment or reply — they can only hug. Your confessions stay inside the app: we never republish them in marketing, and the example cards on this page were written by us.
Do I have to use the club?
No. The two halves work on their own — plenty of people only ever open the repair kit for the scripts, and never post once. But the club is the part parents tell us they didn't know they needed: around 90% of parents yell and almost nobody says so, which is why it feels like just you at 11pm.
Does it work offline?
The repair scripts, the apology framework and the calming tools all live on your device — they work on airplane mode, in the car, at 2am. The club is the one part that needs internet.
What ages does it cover?
Under 18 months through 7 years. The exact words and the “for them” repair moves are rewritten for each age band. More than one kid? Add them all — a badge at the top of every screen switches whose age the app is speaking to.
How much does it cost?
$59.99 a year or $3.99 a week, with a 7-day free trial on the weekly plan. One plan, everything included — no free tier with locked features, no ads, no upsells inside the app. Cancel anytime.
Will it track streaks and make me feel worse?
Never. No streaks, no “days without yelling”, no red calendars, no grades. It counts the comebacks, not the blowups — the one number that goes up is how many times you came back and repaired.
Is my data private?
Accounts are anonymous — no email or password needed. Your kid's name never leaves your device. Private notes are never published. You can delete everything, permanently, from Settings. See the Privacy Policy.
iOS and Android?
Both, at launch. Join the waitlist and you'll be first in — early birds get their first month free.

Your kid doesn't need a perfect parent.
